The passion at Lambert Bridge Winery centers on creating the ultimate wine-country experience for each visitor. Summer and fall are the perfect times to visit the wine country, to indulge in culinary delights and explore Healdsburg and its surroundings. The winery offers many culinary experiences: Barrel Room or Al Fresco Canapé Reception, Luncheon, Dinner or a Vintner Picnic Basket Lunch with Casual Wine Country Fare.
You may wish to coordinate your trip to the Valley with one of the Events offered:
The Art of Wood-Fired Cooking: Saturday, July 19, 2008, 10 am $95 per person. Join Chef Andrea Mugnaini in the beautiful outdoor kitchen as she shares her passion for wood-fired cooking. Andrea will demonstrate diverse and delicious menu items that illustrate the versatility of a wood-fired oven. A complete lunch will be served, paired with Lambert Bridge wines.
Festiva della Vendemmia: Saturday, October 4, 2008, 3–7 pm $150 per person. In Tuscany, the Vendemmia brings the community together to gather the fruits of the year's labors and to enjoy the bounty of their efforts—celebrating great wine, great food, shared with friends. After visitors get their own behind-the-scene taste of the winemaking arts, they'll learn the secrets of preparing authentic pizza in the Al Fresco Kitchen and taste Lambert Bridge wines paired with Artisan Cheeses at stations throughout a sumptuous Tuscan-style feast, high-lighted by the traditional whole-roasted pig in the Mugnaini wood-fired oven.
Wine Appreciation & Education, Culinary Classes & Demonstrations
For the truly discriminating—Personal attention is all yours at Lambert Bridge Winery. This luxury experience highlights an impressive lineup of limited-production, hand-crafted wines poured by the experienced and knowledgeable staff.
Wine Blending Class—Be your own winemaker!
Join Winemaker, Jill Davis, to create your own award-winning cuvée using Bordeaux wine barrel samples! Learn how to blend, bottle, cork and custom label wine. Take home a 750ml bottle of your very own custom-labeled Bordeaux-style Cellar Cuvée.
Chef's Demonstration Dinners
Renowned guest chefs prepare a fabulous dinner especially for your group. You'll learn secrets, get a chance to ask the questions you've always wanted to ask, and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime meal. You may chose "hands-on" where you and your guests actually don aprons and work side-by-side to help the chef with the cooking or choose "demonstration" where your group watches and listens while your chef cooks dinner right in front of you! Both are presented in the Al Fresco Kitchen on the lush gardens of the Winery.
