Jacuzzi Family Vineyards
Generations Dedicated to the Art of Discovery
If you've ever had the pleasure of sitting at a large family table enjoying flavorful food, beautiful wines and lively conversation, then you've experienced the Jacuzzi Family way of life.
Steeped in history, renowned for inventions and producing some of the finest varietals California has to offer, Jacuzzi Family Vineyards has been creating wines since 1994. Their white wines are bright, crisp and mouth-watering while their red wines are velvety smooth and rich, made in a reverse style. The varietals include Sangiovese, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Primitivo, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, and Chardonnay. Over the years, these wines have garnered numerous medals from international wine competitions. The wines pay tribute to a proud family of winemaking heritage.
The Jacuzzi trek to America started in 1907 when Valeriano and Francesco Jacuzzi, the second and third-born sons of Giovanni and Teresa Jacuzzi, immigrated to Washington to work on the railroad. A warmer climate beckoned and the pair eventually made their way to Southern California. Years later, they were joined by four other brothers. They all went to work in the aviation industry and would soon make American history.
Fred Cline, owner of Jacuzzi Family Vineyards and grandson of Valeriano Jacuzzi, bought 350 acres along Highway 121 in Sonoma in 1989. The 18,000 square foot, five-building stone winery, is modeled after the family's home in the Fruili region of Italy. The first vintage of Jacuzzi was released in 1994, and the company is aiming to produce 15,000 cases of Italian varietals. The site also houses the new tasting room of the Olive Press (707.939.8900), an award-winning California extra virgin olive oil producer. A picture window with a view of the olive presses is located next to the tasting room, which offers sixteen varieties of olive oil, eight made on site.
Jacuzzi Family Vineyards is located at 24724 Arnold Drive in Sonoma, California. For more information, please call 866.522.8693 or visit www.jacuzziwines.com.
